yeah thats what i wanted to see. if you did a simulation or modeled the cloth look from scratch. are you using blender or maya?

Blender. I couldn't even imagin how to model that with out the simulation right now. seems like it would be a pain in the ass. I still want to check out maya.

its actually easier than you think. i was asking because i do cloth on Maya quite well, so if you were using that program i would've helped you out

but to get maya for free i have to be a student somewhere right? Thanks, if I get maya i might hit you up with questions. I'm sure I’ll have about a million.

Yeah that's the only way to "legally" get it free.

That looks good though.  I loved doing water simulations in Blender(never done cloth in blender).  Can get some really amazing results, but very very taxing.

Yeah, it took forever to render and my fan was running so fast i thought it was going to lift my laptop off the ground. I don't think my student status is still good at FCCJ....

MLB PS4 incoming?

I was wondering how long it was going to take them to officially announce the next MLB game. Looks like they're gonna show it off on November 4th.

I don't know why, but I love looking at reflections on surfaces.  Seriously don't know why.

Looking good though.  I'm gonna start trying to post my works that I'm doing on here for any feedback.

Do it man, I'd like to see your stuff and everyone else’s. Maybe we should start a thread, before a certain somebody comes in here and turns us in for derailing again. lol.

Edit, If i did more samples do you think it would have gotten rid of a jaggy line in the blue? I only did 500 for this one, the last was 2500.

Yeah a new thread would be cool.  And yes upping the samples should get rid of it.  Though it's best to find a good balance on sampling. You don't want too many to where it will slow down your render and only give a minimal result.  I know in maya there is a way to just render a certain part of the frame, but don't know if there is one in Blender.  That is a good way to be able to up settings gradually to see different results quicker.

Heh. Loving all the "Playstation" talk in this thread.

At any rate, got a chance to play on a PS4 today. It was so cool! That and the controller is very well made.

Also finished Beyond. Eh...it was good, but I expected more. Enough said.

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.
