My first 3d model project. Lol there's a big square hole in the glass under the cloth. I don't know how it got there but what ever you can't see it in the final project.

not bad! did you model the cloth as well?

Picked up my PS4 camera. It's smaller than I thought it would be. Looks slick. The only thing I don't like right now is that the cord is very stubborn. I'm sure it will loosen up but right now it kinda makes it a small pain.

Will get one at christmas probably.  Saw an unboxing of it and I couldn't believe how small it was.

Not sure if you read or heard what it says on the back of the box but I thought it was all interesting.

  • Broadcast yourself in play with PlayStation Camera. Become a community sensation by adding picture-in-picture video of yourself in gameplay livestreams.
  • In enabled games, two highly sensitive wide angle lenses precisely track the position of multiple players and allow their body movements to control games.
  • Integrates four microphones to allow voice navigation of the user interface and voice chat with friends online.
  • Enables facial recognition technology for logging you in easily to the PlayStation 4 system.
  • Interacts with the light bar on the DUALSHOCK 4 Wireless Controller, creating experiences only possible on the PS4 system.

Yeah, I just followed the guide. It was just a thin square then I ran a cloth simulation physics where it dropped above the glass and I stopped it when it looked good.

I'll do another tutorial tonight; I guess I’ll keep doing these till i figure out how to make things on my own. At least it gets me use to the tools.

Blender. I couldn't even imagin how to model that with out the simulation right now. seems like it would be a pain in the ass. I still want to check out maya.

Similations are so nice. I really like the material you used for rendering.

its actually easier than you think. i was asking because i do cloth on Maya quite well, so if you were using that program i would've helped you out

Thanks bro, all i really did thought was pick the color off the wheel. I if i remember correctly all i had to do was change one setting can't remember what it was. But it does look like silk.
