I think around 5-6 hours so far for that.  I get side tracked so easy so it might have been longer than that. lol

Probably have another hour or so to finish it.

That's not too bad i guess.

I just did a blender tutorial of a glass cup and napkin. I just hit the render button and my computer about to explode! It doesn’t like me right now...

What type of rig do i need for this? I think it's going to take all night to render, so I’ll let it run while i sleep. I'll post it tomorrow. But it's nothing big. Might take you like 20 mins to do.

I use a 2011 macbook to do a lot of modeling and it usually renders fine. Blender wasn't to bad either. But I also have a desktop with i7 3770k 3.4ghz and gtx 680 that I use to texture, model big scenes, and render everything I do. Suckers pretty fast with this stuff.

What specs are in your computer?

it's been a while amd A8 processor 6 gigs of ram. dont remember the speed over 2 for sure. it's only 2 years old.

hmm well I haven't used blender in over a year or so.  But I don't ever remember it taking to long to render stuff.

My 3D model of a guitar so far.  Feel free to comment on it, rip it apart, etc.  Still has some work left I have to do and there a couple things I probably will change.

smooth the edges of the guitar, they are too sharp, use some bevel it or smooth them out a bit yourself. other wise model looks pretty cool.

It finished last night. Looks pretty cool. Ill post it when I get home. Not sure how long it took, I feel asleep while waiting.

Picked up my PS4 camera. It's smaller than I thought it would be. Looks slick. The only thing I don't like right now is that the cord is very stubborn. I'm sure it will loosen up but right now it kinda makes it a small pain.

The camera's really cool. There are a bunch of tricks you can do with it. I was kinda bummed when I found out it wasn't included.

Yeah that's one of the things I'll be doing tonight or tomorrow.  Oh and displacement mapping tutorials, now!!!!   Forgot all about them.  Will bug you from now on.

Will get one at christmas probably.  Saw an unboxing of it and I couldn't believe how small it was.

My first 3d model project. Lol there's a big square hole in the glass under the cloth. I don't know how it got there but what ever you can't see it in the final project.
