So it seems the ps4 not being able to play mp3's is the mega mega deal breaker to people on gaf. I mean seriously. Who gives a fuck. Just listen to the music on your phone or iPod or something. It's a games console first and foremost not a freaking music player.

It will come. No big deal. Rather the UI be in good shape and add little things like MP3 playback at a later date.

It doesn't support DLNA or USB drives either. If you have any digital files at all, photos, videos or music, it looks like you can't use them on a PS4. This is pretty inconvenient for some.

Yeah I get it may be annoying for some, but it's not a reason not to buy the ps4.  Though gaf does blow things out of proportion.

ok that IS annoying. i play all my movies/tv series on my PS3. i just download them, put them on a usb, and play them on my PS3. if thats not supported then geez, what a fucking bummer!

Yeah I don't believe Sony doesn't have a plan to add this stuff in after launch.  Launch just needs to focus on giving us all or most of the big promises for the OS and have them be stable.  No reason to focus on small stuff that will take away resources from them getting out a stabel OS. 

And i want Uncharted 4, but a Naughty Dog space open world(or semi open world) game would be fucktacular!!

Yeah, same in my house. Was planning to switch out the PS3 for the PS4 and move it to another room, but we all use it to watch stuff.

I agree. But it is irritating if you rely on some of these features and were planning on a simple PS3 -> PS4 upgrade.
