It will come. No big deal. Rather the UI be in good shape and add little things like MP3 playback at a later date.
Side note: Drakes in Space!

Yeah I don't believe Sony doesn't have a plan to add this stuff in after launch. Launch just needs to focus on giving us all or most of the big promises for the OS and have them be stable. No reason to focus on small stuff that will take away resources from them getting out a stabel OS.
And i want Uncharted 4, but a Naughty Dog space open world(or semi open world) game would be fucktacular!!

Yeah, the ps4 we get today won’t be the same in 6 month or a year or even the next 5 years. Sony is good at evolving their system. And this time they have the power to do what ever they want. 8 gigs of ram was the best move sony could have made.

Actually (insert x amount here, haha you plebs who have to guess) reserved outside of games was the best move Sony could have made. Up until the reveal event, devs only had 3ish GB of the 4GB console. Their games were being designed and made for this amount. Bumping that memory up this late in development really isn't going to make a world of a difference for launch titles.
Basically it just gives them freedom to decide things later, without any major conciquence on the quality of games. If they feel confident that non gaming features don't need that much, then they'll slowly ease up and give more to games. Similar to the PS3 OS going from 120 MB to 50MB.
