Forums - Nintendo - Question for Nintendo 3DS XL owners

I have the normal one on the left, the one on the right look very attractive though, so I got a question, does the screen on the XL make games look more pixelated and stretched out?, since all games are made for the normal one, I am guessing they just up the resolution and stretch the screen, did anyone notice this ?
I know I can google it , but I want to know from your experience rather than others.

Yes, they look more pixelated, but sincerely, the screen is so big that, trust me, once youve tried the XL, you wont be back to the standard NEVER. The 3D effect is easier to get into also.

you mean the left? The one on the right is the XL

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

I never use the 3D, my eyes get tired of the 3D easily , unless its shutter based 3D.

Same thing happens to me.  If it's a cut-scene or if I'm really curious to see what a particular scene looks like in 3D I'll briefly turn the slider up, but otherwise my 3DS is a strictly 2D machine.

That happened to me with the standard 3DS too. The XL 3D effect is much less tiresome for the eyes. I use it 80% of the time at 3/4 or full, depending on the game.

I have both and tbh I can't tell the difference.
