We thought we had a good idea about what Sony would reveal at its PS4 event. We were wrong. In a jam-packed two-hour event, Sony revealed the release window, showed off a new controller, talked about the impressive tech that would run it, and demoed a bunch of new games. Microsoft has a lot of work ahead of it if it wants to keep up.

But what does the Xbox 720 need to bring to the table to best the PS4? How can Microsoft present its console in such a way that makes Sony's announcement seem less monumental? Well, here are a few options...

A company will show Kinect and a box and jab at Sony for not doing so. A company will also act like 8gb of RAM is the same no matter what type. A man will not care and buy WiiU and PS4.

I can see it now. Regardless of what Microsoft shows, good or bad, every article about the reveal will end with "well at least they actually showed the console" lol.

Offer free online. Do it. Do that and you kick Sony in the nuts.

Show me new exclusive IP's that look stunning and Ill be there day 1.

The exclusives, that's what I want to see. I know they'll be at least 3. 3 new ip's maybe? I hope so. New games are needed for a new generation. The 8th gen has started but it's winner is far, far from decided. The news with EA looks great too. Most EA games, or even half, on timed exclusive would really hurt Sony. Destiny could also be timed. They're in a really good spot, Sony announced first so they can steal the momentum, they have the money, they will have the media, I hope they don't waste their chance.

Show a lot of games. That's all I can say.

I wish these articles would stop with the game talk. Sony had mostly 3rd party stuff at their event. I have no problem with that. I have a problem with the people who keep thinking Microsoft needs to all of a sudden bring it with the games like they were not going to have 3rd party people attend their event.

You don't like Fitness games for Kinect?

They won't beat Sony cause Sony had a lot more to win and more possibilities to convince developers and gamers.
They had a lot to change and did it - Except for some haters who care for a Black Box aka the console they didn't show everything was adressed and awesome.

Microsoft doesn't have anything to get the same impact.
They will continue with the stuff they did in the last years and what they had wit the 360.No change in architecture to please developers.
No new REALLY forward driving exclusives and a big blabla around the new version of Kinect and how they somehow can get people interested about it.
This will be the show.
And does really someone care for the maybe new FPS from the CoD creators?Oo
