Im not going into the old debate as to who the best guitarist is as its a pointless argument.
But who is your personal favourite guitarist, mine is Queens Brian May, i love his home made guitar and his signature guitar tone.

For me, Dimebag Darrell will always be the best of all time, he was a groove beast and a great soloist
I like Mark Tremonti as a melodic composer

I consider Stevie Ray Vahn to be my favorite guitarist, but I have major bias for Blue Rock.

Slash (Saul Hudson) is probably the best guitarist of all time though.
