Demo was phenomenal, will definitely purchase the game when it gets a bit cheaper. Glad to hear its doing well; anything metal gear seems to be a sure fire hit. 

I don't know how was the expectation of this game for Konami but in UK it sold less than Dead Space 3, Aliens and Crysis 3... using the VGC data less than 58k accross all plataforms.

I think it did well in Japan.

I didn't say it was a bad score.

When you compare it to games like COD that come out every YEAR and don't bring anything new to the table get 10/10-9/10, It's doesn't seem right.

But that does not mean good games deserve 10/10, 9'75/10. This game in particular is a <solid> (hehe) 8 in my eyes. Have flaws, and it is short. Yet, I luv it. That's why acute powers of criticism are in need. The fact that you recognize COD as a franchise that does not deserve those scores mean you already have one.

Black Ops II got an 83, 83, 74. metascore. I mean I get your point. But it's not near the difference, and imo the past couple of years reviews have been generally a bit more well rounded.

Platinum def makes some of the best HnS games in the industry. Games like god of war really don't have competing combat systems. Though the DMC reboot was pretty cool.
