The title is incorrect.

You start off with a shoddy OP and you will be rewarded with shoddy discussion.

It's common sense that the OP needs correcting if we are to expect discussion to mirror what the article is to correctly display, which is that "Sony halves EU studios developing for PS4".

You know as well as I do that people will come in here, see the title, look at the "revised list" and "original list" in the OP and think that ~75% of the support vanished.

We lost Angry Birds and minecraft? Neither of them will make a significant impact. Notch is way too lazy, and rovio only makes one successful game. Funny how you think that's important.

Those devs listed were ones sent dev kits, and despite being removed from the list, simply stated 'it's not that we don't have plans to develop for ps4, just that we don't have anything being specifically developed right now for ps4'

And yeah, more interesting that a member who normally shits all over ps4 continues to allow false information to be on his thread despite being proven incorrect.

I'm still perplexed on how this is even news...(and by the looks of it fault news) every time there's a new console on the market the devs love to throw their support behind i though many games never see the light of day.

I couldn't agree with you more.  What we should be talking about is how interesting the new list is.

I mean, Creative Assembly?  What does that mean, exactly?  Total War on the PS4?  A new strategy game, or something else?  Their Wiki page lists:

 IO Interactive is no surprise but I still wonder what their next project will be.  And what about Deep Silver?  Too soon for more Dead Island?

The thread title is a bit misleading. What sony said is they removed half of the European studios developing for the ps4. It went down from 54 to 28.

Assuming they didn't mislead us with Japanese and American Studios that leaves us with around 100 developers. Originally there were around 120 developers listed.
