Also I don't see how Sony doesn't have potential for growth considering they botched pretty much everything from 05-07 (including launching late).  They could steal a lot of that 150m shared user base back that they had with PS2 if they come in at lower than $599 this time and will obviously not be as late.  Also their online won't get a bad reputation because of the first 2 years (it's already pretty much even minus cross game chat so they'll be pretty even this whole gen I think).  Also PS+ (if it gets advertised with this new add agency) will draw that crowd to PS4.  I predict PS4 to be 10 million ahead of PS3 at this point in its life cycle.

Nope (why I rarely post in these threads). PS3 on console top. 3DS on platform top. Everything else just coasting along. I expect PS3 sales to jump in the next two weeks (God of War) and, perhaps, a little spike for the 360 the week after (Gears of War).


Sales threads are likely to be slow until some major announcements and/or games arrive. This fall and holiday season will surely be the most busy in vgchartz history though, we will probably gain a horde of new members and the boards will light up like a christmas tree! Can't wait!

So FE is at 741k worldwide retail and number one retail game sold digitally in the US. Together with japanese digital sales, how are the chances that one million has been crossed?

Almost everything's up WoW, not bad for a slow period, but the only sales really decent or good are 3DS, PS3 and XB360 ones. BTW we can see that there is still life in Wii and DS, Ninty was quite stupid to kill them so early, as neither 3DS nor Wii U are selling as well as their elder brothers.

The numbers are a little weak but hopefully with the co-op, they will pick up or have legs from friends wanting to finish it on harder levels with a buddy. Some will just join match making but it might help it to grow some legs. I think the game was good. I would give  it a 8. The game was long and had some cool features with the gun customization and does hold great replay value. I will be hitting up Insane with my buddy since we got all the collectibles and beat it on Hard. I will also be grabbing the DLC... Not sure how accurate the numbers are on this site but hopefully the game is doing better than what the numbers say.

Scary games should launch at the right time. Halloween is a great time for games like this.

I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY DEAD SPACE GAMES DON'T LAUNCH AROUND HALLOWEEN TIME.

Lets hope the game has some legs.

yeah, it's currently tracking behind Dead Space 2 sales (which I think VGC undertracks). I think the 5 million EA said is pretty much out of the picture, it's just whether they really meant that.

And not counting PC. I'm picking another copy with my brother to play co-op.

I do agree. they should launch it around halloween. That's like free hype.
