I rarely ever post on this site ever but this caught my attention. As far as I read this thread up to page 5, people just seem to see you as a sony fan who has no idea what they're talking about. I myself, have been an Xbox/xbox360 fan for a very long time. In the end, I have been thinking over the past few months that I realized I've been virtually robbed by MS for at least 7 years. I've been paying to play online for far too long and it does feel like buying a ps3 over 360 could've been cheaper in the long run. I've also had a problem with my 360, TWICE. And guess what SINGLE franchise got me into the Xbox in the 1st place....Halo. I was a total Halo nerd for too long, and don't get me wrong, I still love Halo for it's universe, it's just that it's owned my MS that I feel is recently upsetting me. Well I don't want to get into so much detail now, but this is now coming from someone who now plays on PC/WiiU on a normal basis. I just want to support the OP that just because OP is a sony fan, shouldn't immediately make him biased against MS.

i feel the same way, somehow they managed to make us pay for something (live) making us beleive that it was not available in any other console. In microsoft defense i would say that they were the first ones to offer this service in a very useful way, but the fact that they started rising prices was plain insulting.

yeah cause getting hacked and being down for a month is the better way. not to mention inferior everything online. la time i checked there are many psn games that still dont have any voice chat even though they have online component. also some games like mortal kombat 2 dont allow you to have a private match with people on your friends list... random matchmaking only. this kind of stuff is rediculous for an xbox live user

i like the fact xbox live costs money. people are less likely to screw around' cheat, hack and team kill when they are paying money to have an account. also skill based matchmaking doesnt work if accounts are free...

look at me, im level gazillion in this fps game and i feel like killing some newbs for a day, ill just open a free account and demolish everyone i get paired up and then go to my regular account tommorow... no thanks

I don't agree with that opinion, but I respect it. I still don't see raising the price justifying that in anyway though.

learn that people have preferences and opinions and stop shoving yours down others throats. Goodnight

I RECOMMEND PEOPLE NOT COMMENTING IN THIS THREAD AND LET IT DIE.  DONT FEED PEOPLE WHEN THEY MAKE THESE TYPE OF THREADS.  YOUR NOT GOING TO CHANGE HIS OPINION AND ALL THIS THREAD IS GOING TO BE IS ARGUEING AND HIM DEFENDING HIS REASONS.

What are you talking about? You are basically going LALALA to these glaring issues that I have pointed out. I just would like to know how something like this is so easily dissmissed when so many other companies get blasted for far less.

ps2 was just as flawed but with out social media and also without a extended warranty. MS did everything right but you seem to have forgot ps2, so why should we be mad about this if it was handled way better.

Agreed, MS has done much to shake my condifence in them. Even though I have owned a 360 since 2005, I was never really crazy about the hardware. To me, the 360 was more of a means to simply play the third party games I could not get on Nintendo platforms.

so your xbox must have gotten a lot of use if thats the case.

wow OP, Richardhutnick kinda set you straight didn't he... didn't he!

That ends up pretty easy to do, when a partisan talks trolling smack.  It is pretty sad to try to do that, because one can google, and within a minute or two end up finding stuff to refute nonsense, if you look.

I will say that the RROD issue should make one take pause to think about buying another Microsoft console.  It would likely be best to wait to see if they repeat again.  Other issues are secondary, and Sony has its own issues.  As of now, the fact that you can't play PS3 games you own on the PS4 (anyone SERIOUSLY think Sony is keeping track of what games you own so you don't need to rebuy them, after they pulled backwards compatibility of the PS2 on the PS3?) has caused me to take pause and wonder if I should even bother getting a PS3 again at this point.

I don't know, the XBL Gold issue is pretty huge to me. In the 360's case, they straight up lock you out of most features the other consoles have, like Internet browsing, or Netflix. As if it wasn't bad enough you couldn't game online without it. I've also had a terrible experience trying to cancel my service - forcing people to call to cancel when using a CC, even though they'll take money online no problem, is fucking ridiculous. Ended up having to pay an extra month because their service was temporarly down, and that long, 30m+ wait on the phone...

Bit off topic, but yeah, makes me wonder if the amount of money they make from trapping people is worth the number of customers they (permenantly) lose.

Well.....I was going to comment but I think the poll speaks for itself.

Has anyone else tried Reese's Puffs cereal? It's like candy. I don't even poor milk on it, I just eat them as a snack dry. I'm not kidding it's freaking candy.

Anyone else have a good cereal suggestion?

I had some Raisin Bran Crunch for the first time a few weeks ago, and it was surprisingly good.  Didn't taste like cardboard the way plain old Raisin Bran does.

Also a huge fan of Trix, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and Fruity Pebbles.

No but I have been eating the shit out of some Captain Crunch.

Yes, yes it has. I have probably put over 200 hours just in the Gears series alone haha.. Then there's Oblivion, Fallout 3, Skyrim, Dead Rising, Borderlands 2, Call of Duty MW, Black Ops, Dark Souls, and countless others. As much as I love Nintendo games, I'd be a fool to pass up on so many great third party titles.

I agree. I'm showing my hatred of Microsoft by not buying the nextbox until a month after release. That will show them!

Oh yeah, brofist to that my hardcore friend! :D

OT:

Great system, amazing third party games, quality first party games, great service, and it's a fucking good experience.

No 720 for me, Microsoft lost me after 3+ broken consoles, Unless somthing gears of war comes out??
