Forums - Website Topics - VG Chartz edging towards the top 10,000 sites on the Internet

Pretty impressive considering this is a site about games, which is already niche, and it only covers the sales of games, making it even more niche.

Around the Network

For those looking for the top 500 sites on the whole internet (that is including websites of different languages) it can be found right here: http://alexa.com/site/ds/top_sites?ts_mode=global&lang=none

As for how many websites there are on the internet, I would have to say millions. Alexa only graphs up to 100,000 and tracks through 1,000,000 or so though.

What is Number 1?
Google?

Its Yahoo, but that's because it's up against google.com rather than all of google... if you go to alexa.com and find each countries rankings there is usually a google site above yahoo, like here in UK google.co.uk is above yahoo.com, but google.com is also high up there.

great job ioi on making this a great site and popular

1.What is an uknown country? 2. You obviously meant "unknown" in which case I ask, why are they considered less well known?
