Forums - Sony - Killzone and the other PS4 exclusives left Watchdogs graphics in the dust.

The thing you have to keep in mind with Watch Dogs is it is a multi-gen game. Most of those, especially at launch, will only look marginally better than the previous gen versions. It will mostly have better lighting and AA, probably slightly higher res textures. However, polygon count will probably be very similar. It still looks great with those improvements, though. I just can't wait to see what ND have in store for the system.

Yeah, I'm so excited for what ND has in store for us. E3 needs to get here sooner :/

I made sure to own only 1 FPS this generation. It came free with a controller.. :P

It was Killzone 3. I don't like FPS. I completed Killzone 3 on normal, and did missions on various levels from easiest to hardest, (I'm not talking about the intro mission where it's impossible to die.)

But, after a while, I got bored with it. It was fun for a minute, but, as I thought, shoot-shoot-shoot-hide-throw a bomb, got boring after a while. I don't even play Killzone anymore.

But, seeing it on PS4, it wasn't bad. I'll probably get it. But, the next FPS I get will be the last one I get for PS4, so, I'll wait, and get the very last killzone that'll appear on the system.

Now, as far as other things, like...Knack... i was super skeptical as I watched the scenes.. But, when I saw the game-play... awesome. Why can't more games be like that? Bringing back what the 90's did is great.. Makes me think of Nintendo, because I think for the most part, they've stayed true to that. But, me not owning a nintendo console ever, I've completely missed out on that.

Hope PS4 brings back that diversity. What we've lacked on PS3.

Killzone looked great, but as boring as ever at the same time.

And yeah, Watchdogs is open world while Killzone is not.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

Yeah I've never understood why people love Watchdogs so much. It looks fun but it doesn't scream next gen like theoother games.

Modern Assassin's Creed with hacking as a main aspect of the game - what more would you want!?

How does this look even remotely similar to Assassin's Creed? The free runningish?

After seeing Killzone, the newest InFamous and Quantic Dream Games their tech has literally made Watchdogs pale in comparison. For some odd reason when they started playing Watchdogs I didnt have the same feeling that I got when I first saw the game at E3. I still can't wait for it, but my god what a showcase!

Killzone is a cinematic corridor shooter. Watchdogs is an open world game, of course a game with restricted areas could look better. You could actually walk through the city in Watch Dogs, you can not do this in Killzone.

And ... Watch Dogs was almost the only game at the Sony event that showed real gameplay, Killzone shows only little gameplay and a cinematic city flight.

Do you remember Sonys fake Killzone trailer for PS3?

Not look in terms of graphics, I meant the gameplay. You didnt see the way the character was moving around the city? How he was dodging the authority? Going after criminals?

Yeah I said that I think (bold).

Ubisofts games are starting to look like they all have similar elements of core functions. When the hacker ran and tackled a guy it reminded me of Assassins Creed as well.
