Forums - Sony - Killzone and the other PS4 exclusives left Watchdogs graphics in the dust.

Killzone was by far the worst game at the show.Nice looking Covershooter number...over 9000. Literally. But I guess people are that shallow.

As a Killzone fan, I can't wait to see the story about how Vekta suddenly had a Berlin Wall scenario take place, the lore of Killzone is great and this game looks to take it even further.

Watchdogs looked worse than Killzone for sure, but its built for both generations so its expected to take a hit graphically to run on all platforms.

Watch Dogs is an open world game and looked phenomenal on all levels. Not just the graphics but the gameplay. The way you can do so much in the world and there is not a hint of slowdown or anything. That, to me, is next gen.

Killzone on the other hand looked beautiful but once the actual gameplay started, it was just a run of the mill FPS we can already play on PS3 right now. Take cover, peek out, fire at mindless enemies. When that wave ends, rush into next box, take cover, peek out and kill another wave. And Infamous showed no actual gameplay from what I remembered. Maybe someone can correct me on that though.

Happy we are getting another Infamous and KZ but Watch Dogs was the game of the event imho.

It looked good. I had a little issue with the running animations, but it is early and there is plenty of time for them to make fixes. I'll get the PS4 version of Watch Dogs since the PS4 has all the 'extra sauce'. xD

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

i think they still have time to polish it before launch if they want to...

It didn't show actual gameplay but it was all rendered using their brand new engine, so it will look like that in game (more or less).

Also, you described every FPS on the market. Halo, CoD, BF etc. They are all like that. Plus I can't judge how Watch Dogs will look on PS4 since that demo was running on a PC with "similar" PS4 specs.

If history is any indication, it will be the less part of that equation.

Plus personally I don't care how good a target render looks, pure gameplay is always superior.

That's exactly the problem.

They ALL looked great which is what matters. Plus, we haven't seen those games in their final form yet so let's wait and see how they turn out before we start make claims.
