I cant stop laughing reading the various "underwhelmed" and "justifying" tones from neutral gamers and Sony gamers alike. As usual, expectations were set so high that Sony couldn't possibly deliver on it.

Personally:

- Lack of Kaz.....bad move Sony considering Kazification
- No console reveal at a console announcement......weird
- No last Guardian and Final Fantasy V13 (FF was very vague)
- Multiplat heavy gameplay

- KZ looked more of the same, Infamous no gameplay

- Car game and didn't announce GT6. Total missed opportunity.

- A lot of talk, buzz words, and promises with little concrete facts

Side Note - Women didnt take to kindly, think Sony is sexist with not a single Sony female exec (see twitter for female scorn)

It doesn't matter you don't need a playstation in the kitchen.

I'm not Sony, I am just a man, I love gaming, okay, I love you to, I love walk off homers and headshots, I love drifting a turn at 100mph and boss battles with a 600ft greek god who may or may not be my father.  Gaming is having a ridiculous huge tv in a tiny 1 bedroom flat, staying up til 3am to earn a trophy that isn't real, but is.

and it's girls who know that a way to a mans heart is through a melee attack.  I love gaming, and I know you love it too, it's why you are here, and why millions of people are talking about the PS4, it's why they released the specs, so every person on this great spinning marble will be able to get a taste of the PS4 sugar.

Families, kids grand parents and us hardcore gamers, im talking about you, dont hate on us, look at it this way if you've got an awesome girlfriend, and someone else gets an awesome girlfriend do you know who wins? everyone.  With PS4 your mum can make your mum jokes after she beats you at Knack.  and a 10 year old kid in fresno can make a man in boston question his own man hood.

We can all box with each other with game characters who have important features such as arms, and necks.  When they said PS4 will be for the gamers they meant it.  And the PS4, the PS4 will bring a whole lot more of everything to the table, because every gamer is a true gamer, motion gamers, sitting gamers everyone and although we may pledge fan boy allegiances to different flags, deep down we all serve one master, one king and his name is GAMING.
