I see that some people were going to be dissatisfied regardless of what Sony showed, and some the opposite. Regardless, Sony is pulling out all the stops.

I also find it funny that some of you are like "Boring, Generic, Didn't Show anything", when obviously you were watching the Meeting with your eyes closed while going "LALALALALALALA!!!"
Winning factors shown....
-Watch Dogs and Destiny, both Multiplatform but their appearance means they will be right on par if not better on PS4 this go around. Ubisoft and Activision's presence speaks much about the console's standing with them. PS4 will not be second fiddle to MS's willingness to open their check book.

-Killzone Shadow Fall, dem graphics, amazing! Many want to say its CG due to the disparity with KZ2 TECH Demo. I would like to point out that GG did get very close to that level of fidelity with KZ2 and hit it with KZ3. Why this is a mark against them, I will never know.

-Drive Club, a graphics whore's wet dream.

-A "FF" game will assuredly be at Sony's E3. This screams Versus XIII. I was actually hoping they would reveal it there but they have decided to save this Megaton for Later. Regardless, FF is one of the more commanding IPs in gaming. Will be super hyped to see what it is. Also if it is debuting at Sony's conf, and needed to be announced before hand.....probably exclusive.

-Deep Down......looks amazing. The More RPGs the better, and It might be a launch game so count me in.

-Infamous Second Son. I am all about this series, one of my favorites on PS3 (I2's endings are some of the best writing in an action game). Launch Window

-Other games for the more Casual centric crowd like Knack and The Witness.

-Sony says they will not block Used Games

-Cloud gaming integration with Gakai which can lead to some great functionalities.

-Controller actually sounds like a vast improvement from the normal Dualshock without being too costly or alienating fans of the controller(Further spaced Sticks, Share Button, Triggers, Mic jack, Touch Pad, etc)

All of this, while knowing they will assuredly have even more Megatons at E3. In comparison, WiiU showed "nothing new or interesting" when they originally unveiled the WiiU. I distinctly remember the only console exclusive to be shown or even acknowledged to exist was........Nintendoland and Lego City......

So for me, launch Day if I can sum up the cash, if not then definitely within the Window.

I think you posted too much sense into one reply!

The main point to take away from Sonys little demo is the backing from major publishers as you rightly point out. This shows that maybe the PS4 will be the core platform to dev on, and port things away from, rather than what happened with the 360 and PS3. It also means that Sony stole pretty much all of Microsofts thunder. Bar EA, Sony had every major publisher on stage announcing games under Sony which is critical in showing how Sony want to deal with this generation of consoles, which seems to be very aggressively.

lol sorry, next time I will try to summarize. "You are talking crazy, shut up..."

To be honest, that presentation made me wish Nintendo made games on a Sony platform. The day will come soon enough, it will be the best of all worlds.

The talent and desire to captivate the imagination rather than just go after the dollar is what I've been preaching for God knows how long.

I'm very divided atm but I find the Playstation brand highly appealing right now.

O.o

that's a.. wow.  just an amazing comment on behalf of sony.

You never hear Nintendo fans wanting sony ips on their system. Speaks for itself.

Yep, I'm most likely going to get one on lunch, Really all depends on the lunch titles for me.

I got this bitch day 1!!

Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.

It's a matter of when for me. I have a backlog of PS3 games to finish and even buy yet! If it was BC I would say yes, day 1. Everything about the hardware looks great (DDR5!?!) The new games look good, and they'll probably show many more new ones soon (Uncharted). And I do have a Vita, so the improved remote play with PS4 sounds good to. So for me, no, unless they decide to include BC. Which is still possible, they haven't firmly decided on that yet. But eventually will I buy a PS4? Yes.

Im going to be a smarter buyer this time. I will buy it when the price drops to $99

If Uncharted is revealed to be released day one then I will buy it on the spot if not I can wait a little.

Day one for sure. Price is not an issue. Sony showed enough to move me, and unlike some 'next gen' consoles, I'm sure the multiplats that will be released later around launch will be better than on current gen consoles. Plus, I'm willing to bet Sony will have more in store for us later at E3.

Playstation = The Beast from the East

Sony + Nintendo = WIN! PS3 + PSV + PS4 + Wii U + 3DS

Great! Not day one, as prices are hugely inflated here. But definitely the next-gen choice for me.
