It's not a big worry, but you are flat-out wrong about the 3DS maintaining a "steady" 30-50k per region, and you yourself provided the evidence to disprove your claim. Look at the numbers in your link... USA: 35, 26, 22, 20, 18; Europe: 47, 32, 29, 26, 24...

I don't know how you call this cherrypicking, you posted a source and made a claim disproven by your own source. As far as I can tell, the last time the 3DS sold 30-50k in the US for more than two consecutive weeks was last June/July. Who's cherrypicking again? Where did you get that number?

Yep. And with the pricecut the probability it will do better than last year is much better now. I don't see it doubling it's last years sales though. And that would be needed, before I would say the year for the Vita is brilliant. But if it does better than last year, I would say it is surely saved to live the full 6 years.

If I remember right, it was a poll under famitsu-readers. And well, the price-cut will help the Vita, but the writer of the article Somini posted is really delusional if he thinks it will be a 'brilliant' year and maybe the Vita will end on top. I agree though, that the price-cut is a good thing for the Vita.

I'm sure I'll get one this year. On ebay they go away for ~80€ with a memcard and game included. Prices will only drop further. I'm will ing to spend 120€ on the Vita and DoA5+, I'll see what else I buy for it^^
