MIcrosoft's fud campaign that happened when the PS3 came out.  They're lucky Sony's marketing was terrible at the time.  This fud campaign most likely still happens.

Yeah, you're probably right - still silly though :P

or more logical.. the stores have better margin with the 360 then the ps3..  if I  get 5 bucks more when selling a 360 then a PS3 I sure would push the 360.. I wouldn't care which console I prefered..

Yer ps3 and wii are the dominate consoles in that region but Microsoft has been pushing hard to gain grounds. And the method the used was to give out free 360s to employees. And for every console the employees sell the get discount on 360 games.

About the time when the Dreamcast went under, an old Gamestop employee told me that Sega was just holding off making more Dreamcasts so they could help Sony manufacture parts for the PS2.

Once the PS2 manufacturing was caught up then Sega would go back to making more Dreamcasts.

Me: (looking in the Wii section)

Sales person: what are you looking for?

Me: a game for my brother

SP: in the Wii section?

Me: yeah

SP: I recommend buying call of duty for the Xbox

Me: why?

SP: Its a really fun game and your brother will enjoy it

Me: Can't I just get the game on Wii?

SP: No, only on Xbox

Me: Its right there (points to it)

SP: Its not in HD

Me: So? I also have a PS3, I might just buy it for that. I'm just looking right now anyway.

SP: its not on PS3

Me: I'll be back later (I left the store and never been back since)

An employee once told me the Playstation 3 will suck up all my demons and send them through the internet so Kaz can deal with them.

I thought it was silly at the time, but after I bought my PS3, I used a special demon-discovering camera and I found no demons in my room. I just hope Kaz gives those demons what they deserve.
