So I got an hour in, being the UK it was midnight and I went to bed. I missed something.
Backward Compatability? Heard it doesn't exist, this true? Not that I'd actually want to bring many of my PS3 games forward, as a generation, it was lacking. I still play PS1 and PS2 games but rarely go back to PS3 games I've played and finished.
Hmm, pie.
explain to me: what the F... "holiday 2013" mean?
Is it summer 2013? Fall 2013?

released Q4 or in English around november 2013.
Current PC build:
Asus Z97I-Plus, i5 4790K @ 4.6ghz, EVGA GTX 980 ACX 2.0 1377/1853/124%, Corsair Vengence Pro 2400mhz 2x 8192mb, Corsair RM850, Corsair H80i, 120GB OCZ Vertex 3 SSD, 750GB Seagate Momentus XT SSHD, 320GB Weston Digital HDD, Corsair 230T, Corsair K50 Raptor, HP XQ500AA mouse, Windows 10 Pro 64bit. iiyama Pro Lite G2773HS 120Hz 1Ms G2G gaming monitor.

Am i among a small minority that knows Square will be showing off the big guns at E3, plus what they showed at the press conference looked promising.
And to all the sheep who keep on about "shooters and racers" what is the biggest bulk of games you currently have on your current console lol.

You can play PS3 game in PS4 in the cloud *Gaikai*.
"SCE is exploring unique opportunities enabled by cloud technology with the long-term vision of making PlayStation libraries including an incredible catalog of more than 3000 PS3 titles*6 that is unmatched in the industry, mostly ubiquitous on PS4."

Vita goes from game system to an expensive WiiU gamepad. I like a lot of what Sony announced, it has the makings of a good but expensive console. I will wait to see what steam comes out with before I pick which console to get in addition to the WiiU this gen.

I would never be this caustic about it.
But, Square did manage to destroy FF from what was my favorite franchise and publisher to being almost a 3rd world level publisher.

Typical Sony is the Sony that beat them at their own game twice in a row. Typical Sony is one that has all the 3rd parties, like they showed us. The console that has the 3rd parties ultimately rules the world (most of the time - Wii is an exception). |
Meh, third party support is overrated, at least by the hardcore gaming message board dwellers. That's why Wii was a sales phenomenon despite any real third party support. Third parties love Sony (and MS) because their first party games are nowhere near as successful as Nintendo software so their games have a much better chance on those platforms. As long as Sony and MS are around, they will ALWAYS have the better support because of this very reason.
But again, I don't get why people act like they're the end all be all. Especially when you are able to crank out games of quality like Nintendo does, they become somewhat irrelivant. The only thing Nintendo could use them for is filling up the many gaps in releases. But as I've said many times, they can always look to second parties to fix this little problem as well.
