If you want to buy a gamepad alone it will retail at 175$ so far its only be available at retail in japan.

It won't actually cost that much to make. That's pure profit.

But that's how much a consumer pays for it and thats what we are so im right when i say that it costs about 170$.

Ok, point me to a store selling this controller for that much, then I'll believe you.

Looking away from my TV is the _last_ thing I want to be doing while im playing a game. A simple small touch pad that is meant to be used by your thumbs is perfect.

Difference is a trackpad can combine with the Tv to display and interact the same way as a touchscreen, at the same
Time it doesnt break the immersion. The ergonomics of the controller are also kept in tacked.

Looks pretty much the same as the previous controllers but with more curved geometrical gradients. Looks ergonomically better than previous designs.

It seems the new Playstation will be black then based on this controller... A bit disappointing was hoping they would go for the grey colour of the PS1, since both the PS2 and PS3 have been black, would've liked a change.

What do you mean the D-Pad on the PS4 controller are too close together. I honestly don't understand what you mean.

Look at the difference. There's a reason it has always been called the D-PAD and not D-Buttons.

The Playstation D-PAD IS a pad, they're not individual buttons, they're all connected underneath. It operates and feels the same as any other D-PAD.


I am well aware of how it is built. I've taken Playstation controllers apart o fix them on numerous occasions.

It does NOT feel the same and it only operates in a similar fashion. By separating the D-Pad it feels terrible and I look forward to a Playstation controller with a Vita like D-Pad. A real D-Pad.

it looks good... not to different from the DS3. i wounder how the touchpad will be used and if its really necessary. i hope i can use my DS3 with PS4...

Black is sweet And sexy. The analog sticks look fine concave so as whinos cannot claim greasy fingers slip. Looks fatter like the 360 controller. I have nothing to complain about. 

The final product should look sleeker, but overall I just want it to be 360 cortroller sized.
