Those upper-being gamers won't buy our peasant-like console just because of some (questionable) Third Party support. They want Nintendo Exclusives... well, some of them, anyway.

The thing is, 3rd party games are better on apposing consoles because they look better. The only games i ever buy for nintendo is exclusives whether it is 3rd or 1st party. No offense to them or anything but the Wii didnt match up to PS360 in terms of power and the 8th gen will most likely be the same

I only ask because it implies a general statement about the tastes of gamers who predominately play on non-Nintendo platforms. My experiences with fellow gamers in real life appear to contradict the idea that they can't make a distiction between a childish look and a childish game.

I'm done buying Nintendo first party games. Im freaking tired of Mario, Zelda, Pikmin, freakin' animal crossing. All of that shit!! I want some third party support damnit. I know you all want third party more than first party too, but you're in too much denial about it. STOP BUYING FIRST PARTY GAMES AND SUPPORT THIRD PARTY. They look better on WiiU! Damn the reviews!

I agree with you....generally. Those who love nintendo will tend to focus on its 1st party games. Those who have never played or played and no longer like their IPs (or never liked their IPs to begin with) will likely never move to the Wii U since nearly all the 3rd party games it will get will be ports. What remains is a fairly small number of people who will support 1st and 3rd party games on the Wii U - while the assymetric gameplay.could potentially be a good drawcard (with good games of course) the lack of power in the console probably disincentivises some people.

I do like me some Zelda, and I do like the Wii U more than the Wii, but I don't know if I am willing to buy a whole console that won't meet my other wants. Most Nintendo exclusives don't cut it for me so I can't buy the system for 1st party exclusives alone. It'd have to be an amazing Zelda.
