Core gamers do not care about 3rd parties on Nintendo, in fact, they only care about the next Zelda game

Many people didn't even like SS's art-style... do you remember the crap Nintendo got for WW's?

I only ask because it implies a general statement about the tastes of gamers who predominately play on non-Nintendo platforms. My experiences with fellow gamers in real life appear to contradict the idea that they can't make a distiction between a childish look and a childish game.
