Forums - General - Do You Like or Drink Alchool ?

Yep although socially as the rest of the time I'm a water guy.

People who say they don't like alcohol are just being childish - have they tasted every alcoholic beverage? No? Then stop acting as if you have.

never i find alcohol to taste disgusting.

So you've tasted every alcohlic beverage in the world then?

What's the difference between what you've said and someone saying "I don't like fruit"?

Well no offense but that is completley irrelevant to what I said. I don't like Alcholic beverages at all, I never will but I love fruit though nice and healthy.

i dont drink alcohol, i honestly dont understand why anybody would drink it. it something that makes you lose your sense's and lose a grip on reality. its addictive and harmful is so many ways

I used to get drunk a lot in my first three years at University, for fun and to relax me since my OCD made me have panic attacks at parties when sober.

I stopped last year, for a number of reasons; I got a girlfriend so I no longer when out to try to hook up, I got tired of parties, and I realize I could save a good $300 a year or so by not drinking.

I like to drink the occasional beer or whiskey, or have a glass of wine to dinner. I don't drink as much as I used to do when I party these days, but it happens ^^

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.

depending on my schedule i go out 2-3 times a month.. i like to stick with what i am familliar with. of course this changes since you cant avoid trying out something new. right now im preferring jagermeister for clubbing and guiness for casual gatherings.

i dont think anyone really likes the taste of alcohol. but for the required effect you will just need to find what is the least foul. the only thing i genuinely enjoy and could drink just to drink it would be beer (only danish, carlsberg, tuborg etc.) even this is only sometimes i can drink it in a non social envieroment. when i went to gran canaria this winter i found the tropical climate to long for a beer all the time. i constantly had alcohol in my blood on that trip. even got wasted during the day and fell asleep in the sun (ouch). great partying place though. better than sunny beach imo. people are really friendly and lots of cute blonde swedish chicks there....... i....... i should never have left :(

It's entirely relevant - you've made a vast generalisation about something which comes in many, many different flavours. It is identical to someone saying they don't like any fruit and yet have only tasted a banana and a pear.

" I don't like Alcholic beverages at all, I never will "

So you've tasted everything from luxury wine  to exotic cocktails and single malt whiskeys from the Highlands? I don't see why so many people make these horribly vast presumptions about something that comes in such a variety of flavours.

I drink because I like the flavour of some of the beverages and rarely ever actually get drunk...

Drinking =/= drunk.

Drunk =/= totally fucking wasted, which is what you've just described.
