Yeah I usually drink each weekend. Sometimes pretty casually like a six pack playing halo with my buds, and sometimes a lot more and going out.

Alcohol isn't a vice...only in excess is it a vice, just like everything else. Hell, fruit juice in excess is a vice...

Don't get me wrong - Im not saying you're wrong in what you've described, just that being "straightedge" sounds quite a flawed notion.

I didn't say alcohol was a vice. I only described what a straight edge is. It's often a subculture of punk rock (sounds counter but I think that's supposed to be part of the point). Usually vegans and into animal rights, eco stuff and similar causes.

Oh yeah I know you didn't say it was a vice, but cleary the straightedge guy saw it as a vice if he didn't drink because he's straight edge...
