Normal or New Type for me

Be very suprised if that is Fighting or anything else

It would be super effective against Dark no doubt but what else could it powerful/resistant/weak to?

Grass is powerfull against many types and weak against many types. Dark is powerfull against few, and weak agains few. Therefore it would screw up the balance, unless they in some way manage to work around it.

Poison type has two weaknesses (Ground and Psychic) and only one type it's powerful against (Grass). Meanwhile, it has four resistances and four types that resist it, and one type that is immune to it.

By comparison, Dark type has two weaknesses, two types it's powerful against, two types it resists, and three types that resist it, and one type it's immune to.

If Poison isn't unbalanced, why would an additional weakness for Dark types unbalance it? Especially since they could easily modify the type chart a bit to maintain the balance.

maybe his favorite pokemon is spiritomb or sableye and if light type is true then instead of no very effective moves it has will become Quad X Super effective from Light?

I'm gonna say Normal type. I'm basing this of the attacks used for Sylveons video. Trump card and Swift are clearly on display, and both of those are Normal type moves.



I'm the result of someone exclusively playing Final Fantasy XI from the PS2 release till 2010, and only stopping for small bouts of catch up.

i think eevee learns those moves so that means every eeveelution gets it. Your reasoning has no support lol

What's the point in showing a new evolution, but then showing famous normal type attacks though? The style also matches normal type pokemon, and I wouldn't put it past Gamefreak to troll us with a normal type evolution.

Light would be strong agianst Dark, Ghost, Fire, and Water.
Light would be weak against Ice, grass, and poison
Light attacks would be weak against grass, and water, while being completely useless on ice.
Light would be resistant against electric, fire and dark
