It will never happen as people complained about the last Pope being in power too long (like over 25years). If anything they will pick and even older guy so he doesn't last longer than 5 years.

It's a conspiracy initiated by Microsoft to overshadow the Ps4 reveal until they are ready to show the the Xbox 720, which will be presented for the first time by the new pope.
we all know they have brilliant business sense
“It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grams a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be reduced to twenty grams a week. Was it possible that they could swallow that, after only twenty-four hours? Yes, they swallowed it.”
- George Orwell, ‘1984’
I hope that the next pope will have a more inclusive of both homosexual's and female's into priesthood. While i may not believe in the Christian bible no reasonable god would deny a group of people to be part of the faith as long as they work to do good in the world.

Well, I believe him. If he thinks he is now longer suited for the role whatever the reason, then it is fine for him to resign, because he most probably wont be able to fulfill the duties he must do. He is just a man, the leader of Catholic people in the world, but he is just a man. For example if you have to do a job, at first it is challenging but you do it great, but after some years you realize you can not do it as good as it should be done because of A,B or C reason. You will still do the best possible job according to your current limitations, but you know it is not enough. Then you realize that there is good worthy people with you that could fulfill the role in the best possible way, so why not resign? |
all i'm saying is (from my research this morining, i'm certainly no expert) that it has been ~600 years since the last papal resignation and none of the previous resignations were for something as insignifant as "i'm old". it sounds like an excuse not a reason.
Doesn't this mean the world is doomed?

Who complained about Paul?

Makes sense. You don't see many 85 year old CEOs.
Having a young pope would be cool. Wonder if it would help the church.
