Maybe I'm wrong, but I think that it could be a Hispanic pope since they are a very strong group in the Catholic religion.  The last two guys weren't Italian so I'm thinking that three won't be a big deal.   

If he thinks he is no longer suited for the role, then I guess it is fine for him to resign. Being Pope is very demanding job just watch him how he was in 2005 and how he looks right now. He has done a great job as a Pope, and I am sure the next one will do an even better job.

Well, I believe him.    If he thinks he is now longer suited for the role whatever the reason, then it is fine for him to resign, because he most probably wont be able to fulfill the duties he must do.   He is just a man, the leader of Catholic people in the world, but he is just a man.

For example if you have to do a job,  at first it is challenging but you do it great, but after some years you realize you can not do it as good as it should be done because of A,B or C reason.    You will still do the best possible job according to your current limitations, but you know it is not enough.   Then you realize that there is  good worthy people with you that could fulfill the role in the best possible way, so why not resign?

Next pope will likely be someone who speaks any latin language.

Actually that's why I think it will be an Italian.  The Itlaian preists are probably annoyed they've missed out twice in a row now.

You could very well be right, but I think that they will go with the trend of it being a non-Italian since it had always been Italians for so long.  We shall find out rather soon.
