I think Steel Diver deserved more sales. Awesome game. Also, OoT sold almost 8 million on the 64. I don't think it did very well on the 3DS.

For a remake, it did pretty well.

This, 3 million for a remake as opposed to 8 million for the first 3D entry into the series on the 64.

Over 3 million to 4 million tops in lifetime? For a remake that's damn good. It's already almost at 3 million. SM64 DS didn't sell as much as the original either, and that DS was more popular than 3DS.

@bolded, so Pilotwings, right?

Layton is declining, but to be fair those sales have been declining since the first game.

While Pilotwings Resort isn't doing all that well, it's not that far off from the other two installments in the series...

Only about three hundred thousand sales, which I don't think is all that bad given how long it had been since the release of the second game...

It would have made an awesome eShop launch title; nobody would consider it a dying or declining franchise if that were the case...

Have a nice day...

I never tried steel diver, from my perspective it looks like a game that should have launched with the 3ds e-shop. However, it would be cool if they made a sequel in a 3d world.

its a remake, it did very well! It'll have around 4mil lifetime maybe more! Other remakes get about a quarter so this is doing extremely well. Look at firered leafgreen! They did over 10mil while the regular ones did 31mil! Does that make Firered and Leafgreen bad?(saleswise). Hell no

I think they should...

It was a great idea that was poorly implemented...

They could have done so much more...

I hear a lot about Fire emblem, but i don't know a damn thing about it.

What the hell is it?

Turn based strategy game, mixed with many jrpg elements.

3M for a remake that isn't even HD is not what I call a flop.

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

Mario Kart 7 isn't in decline compared to Mario Kart DS.

It is nice to see Animal Crossing: New Leaf, Super Mario 3D Land, Paper Mario Sticker Star, etc. do better than it's predecessors, though. In the case of AC:NL, Nintendo was even surprised at how well it was doing compared to Wild World. This shows that Nintendo can still pump out some great games without them even noticing it.

The only people that would say that the software sales are low on the 3DS are those unreasonably expecting DS numbers equivalent to Nintendogs and Brian Training, when few games reached those numbers outside of the first New Super Mario Bros and Mario Kart DS. The 3DS is doing fine for the most part, it is just that the western developers outside of a few that like retro styling seem intent on avoiding producing anything but shovel/kid centered software for them.

Never said it was a flop. I just thought it didn't do very well on the 3DS compared to the N64. But, seeing as it is a remake, i can understand that the sales are lower than the 64 version and it is normal.
