We as consumers have the right to get the best deal and ask for more features for our buck and companies have the right to go out of business if they cant provide the best product for best value. Other companies will be right there to welcome our money when one company goes tits up...

Ehhh ... Screw BC. I'd take a PS4 that's easy to develop for without BC than one with it and still causes issues. I see no reason to get rid of my PS3 for a LONG time so I'll just keep both.

BC can be convenient though. I didn't buy a Wii, but I intend to get a Wii U and BC will prove to be useful since I can play Wii games.

Well, that is my point: we are much more lucky than we think. 

I 100% agree with backwards comparability tbh. When people worry I just laugh like just keep your Ps3 or 360. You will hardly ever play those games anyway haha.
The used games thing I'm split on. At the end of a gen I always buy 4 for £20 on games but these games are years old and I just dont care that much about them. The ones I do buy I buy fairly early on when they release. The only issued a if they decide that they will never lower the RRp on a game like they do now. Here it's £40 on release then in a few weeks £25. If that stops I won't be happy.

Good point. I just want the best console possible, and I want the companies to survive, specially Sony, that is going down pretty fast. Nintendo has hadhelds and MS has Windows, they will be fine, but Sony is bleeding money all around, the NEED PROFIT like a tree needs rain.
