Don't blame Nintendo, blame the law which forces them to do this.

I do blame Nintendo, as I am not German so why should those ridicilous laws apply to me?

The only thing you can blame them for is being located in Germany. Of course they have to follow the german law. A website also has to follow the law of the country it is located, no matter where the users come from :D

I doubt that its a good enough excuse for most consumers Come on, you have to admit it that its an arhaic and BS law, and ONLY Nintenod can be blamed for it.

As if Nintendo made those laws...They should just rent some servers in the UK, open an office there for the legal issues and be good with it...

Exactly... would that be that hard for a company as big as Nintendo?

Vote the Mayor for Mayor!

No. And I'm actually surprised they haven't done that yet.

Wow. I'm sure Wii U already has way more core gaming owners than the wii. Launching with Me3, batman, ac3...

Did you look at the sales for those titles?

im surprised you asked this question considering there was about a 1000 post debate about this when the system launched lol.

But yer as other said blame germany.

Apparently it is ok to shit on someone during sex but not to buy violent video games.

It really shouldn't be, I don't think you would need too much manpower for it. Some lawyers, some IT guys for server maintaince...and that's about it. They would just need to check the IP. If you are from Germany -> German servers, if you are from somewhere else in Europe -> British servers. I'm from Germany, so it would do nothing for me (-.-) but I can really understand why everyone else in Europe is pissed.

Weird glitch. I'm sure they'll fix it in their next update. Hopefully it won't be another 5 gigs.

WTF Nintendo?

The better question would be "WTF Germany?"

Then you people wonder why everyone thinks Nintendo consoles and games are for kids =P

I'm joking! Don't hurt me.
