Forums - Gaming - Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor’s Edge coming to PS3, Xbox 360

Eh, it'll be good for NG fans to get the better version, and i won't mind as long as any updates brought to the PS360 version comes to the Wii U version (i may yet return, just to unlock bonus costumes for Momiji and Kasumi)

Although i still wonder whether or not Nintendo has rights to the content, due to the publishing deal, that would make this difficult for Tecmo-Koei somehow

Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge+ confirmed for the Vita.

Damn, someone beat me to it on the website.

Yeah. Not sure why anyone would ever think Ninja Gaiden would ever be exclusive anywhere. Some version of it is put on every platform.

Aww... i wanted it on the Vita, since they are releasing both sigmas already.

Not gonna play through this again.

Doesn't Nintendo have publishing rights for the game in the U.S.?

Set me straight on this one, Barozi, what was missing from the original version, exactly? I had heard that the kunai wall-climbing mechanics were more difficult, that dismemberments and Obliteration techniques were gone, that there was no combo counter, and that the game was "less technical." Could you clarify?

eh better read through the Wiki article or something, I stopped caring about it a long time ago.

Just a few things: only a Katana and the bow as main weapons, one ninpo, no Ayane, no possibility to upgrade weapons/charatcer, obviously no dismemberment either. The original Ninja Gaiden 3 was really just a beta at most.

Adding to that the already bad story, below average graphics, unexciting bosses, bad level design, QTEs (that can be disabled though), repeatedly respawning enemies and a pathetic camera.

Bbbu Bbuu bbuuut... Some people here were telling me Nintendo financed the game therefore the game could NEVER come out on PS360?

Oh well I still have Ninja Giaden 1 and 2 if I want to go play a real Ninja Giaden game.

Any 3rd party developers making game for the Wii U need to make it for multiplatform or else it wont cover the cost of developing the game. Wii U is not a bad console but the lack of consoles out there will equate to the lack of software sales. Very evident in some of the ports that we seen so far plus some of the ports release, a lot of gamers either played it on the ps3 or xbox 360. I remember any mario games released for any nintendo consoles willl dominate the sales charts for weeks. But with the New mario game for the Wii U, we dont see that trend no more and this probably and most likely due to the number of consoles out there.
This will cause developers to shy away from the Wii U same situation is very similar to the PS Vita. Its just might get worst for the Wii U once next gen is released.
