S.T.A.G.E is really a pathetic person isn't he? Just posting what a lot of us think.

Anyway witcher 1-2 did not do it for me but the new skyrim approach can do it for me.

Its not that his a Pathetic person. Its just i dont see why people are even thinking of the WiiU in the first place when it comes to this game?. I mean before the witcher 2 no one was thinking of this game or the witcher 2 coming to consoles so whats the point in even bringing the WiiU into it?. Why all of a sudden should this be "Hahahaha i can now laugh to myself cos the WiiU most likely wont be able to run this game, wait im going to go post that", is it meant to be funny somehow?, do people get a kick out of such things?, If they do they must live a sad life is all im saying..

Errr... You are taking this way too personal though. It's not like he's laughing at you or anything. The Wii U will indeed lack a lot of third party support this gen, because ports of games for the PS4 and NextBox won't be possible unless they basically redo huge chunks of the game and tone down the physics engines to make them fit the limited power of the console.

But again, S.T.A.G.E. isn't attacking anyone with his comments, so I really wonder why you'd be so defensive over this and drag it for the rest of the thread... -_-

The faster you'll accept that the Wii U is again an underpowered console, the better you'll be.  I'm sure it didn't prevent you from enjoying the great Wii games during last gen, so why should it matter and bother you here?  Great games are what matter, no?

It's a bit sad that Nintendo isn't pushing everything to the same limits the others do, but hey, a new type of controller every gen is more than enough, right?

Is this one going to hit the playstation this time around??

Most definitely.

I trust your words.

It should. The previous games didn't do it, because they didn't have enough money and staff capable of doing a PS3 game. They are a big company now, but remember that The Witcher was their very first game and that company wasn't a huge one when they started this project. They could only afford the PC version at first, after that they paid a French company to make a PS3 and X360 port of the first Witcher, but the company totally blew it and it turned out to be a huge waste of money, since they didn't even make a playable version of the game. After that they decided to continue their small steps and no longer outsource anything. After they got money from The Witcher 2, they could afford making the X360 port on their own, but they knew they still didn't have the staff necesary to make a PS3 port. That's the real story, it's not like they are biased here, just had bad experience and decided to work on their own from now on.

Now, since the PS4 architecture should be so simmilar to the next X-box and a PC, there should be no problem for them to make a PS4 game out of it.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Wow. No more chapters? Open World bigger then Skyrim?

Shit is so pre-ordered. The first two were great games.

It's just that simple.

Nice, from what I got from that list of features, Witcher is becoming some sort of hybrid between Elder Scrolls and Gothic - which, for my taste, is perfect blend.

Ill be optomistic and say its a Xbox/PC title

Xbox: Best hardware, Game Pass best value, best BC, more 1st party genres and multiplayer titles.

Optomistic?

Clearly "all top-of-the-line" consoles means only PC and PS4

Ya, but Im sure MS's wallet will have something to say about that :)

At least a timed exclusivity, which IMO is just as good. You get like 70%+ of console game sales and its like your giving away sloppy seconds!

Most excited about the free-world(no more delaying the main quest for side-quests), and the fact that this time Geralt does his own thing. Although a total bad-ass, he seemed to be running too many errands in the first two games.

Not going to happen. The only reason The Witcher 2 didn't come to PS3 is because their team was to small. I really don't think they can be easily moneyhatted either

Did they double in staff overnight or something?

lol that is a funny question because only a few minutes ago i read that they doubled their team size for witcher 3 hahaha

and btw they still search for a lot of new guys so everyone who needs a job, they have plenty right now!

I wasn't even talking to anyone or trying to start a flame war, but rather just laughing off a brutal truth I wish wasn't the case for Nintendo. They are even talking about this very same thing on the Gametrailers.com Bonus Round about what Nintendo will have to do to survive the lack of third party support. Zero has been on my case a couple times already pertaining to any Nintendo comment, so I definitely know its a Nintendo thing. I've stated time and time again that I am eventually getting one, but again the passion some feel blinds them into needing to defend a company. I wish the Witcher 3 could be on all consoles because everyone deserves a chance to play the sequel of such a masterfully crafted franchise.

P.S.

Personally, I don't care if they rat me out tot he moderators, I know I wasn't trolling.
