This game will make $2 billion for them.

Shenmue costed $70M to be made in the late 1990s. 

How much would $70M  be nowadays considering inflation ?     This game must have been ambitious for its time.

If accurate, then they were developing for multiple units PS4 and Nextbox ports along with PC and maybe WiiU.
No way it cost that much for just PS3 and 360.
And if that's not the case then i guess R* plans on missing next gen by a few years.

That's alot of money but easily worth it, although not too much above GTA 4, which was around $100 million. But this $140 million looks to provide a far superior game to GTA 4, at least from what i've seen so far.

that does not look so healthy for the industry nor for Rockstar, one slide and they are gone. I won't like to see a good developer go just because of one game.

like real life if one car hits you then youre gone! :S

There is one thing called efficiency, do a lot more or equal with less money.
