Just not a fan of the "plastic finish"at times. It kinda has that fanmade Unreal Engine feel. Also slightly disappointed that it's still segmented with loading screens (but maybe it's needed to make the world feel bigger). Everything else looks great.

Also... SARIA MY BABY! I missed her and she sounds nice 😊 I welcome Navi's "Hey... Listen... Look" still being a thing, it's cute and iconic and never bothered me!

Everytime a Zelda game is shown. Fans whine about the art style and the result in the end is always the same.

I think they did a better job than fable at the town design. Similarm Looks impressive, and good use of colour. That final trailer was stunning.

Nah, i had a look at the unreal fan made stuff. The level design/ artistic look is far better than anything fan made.  They could dream to try and make alot of what was shown.

Looks really good. I did wish they'd change it up a bit more. Perhaps they'll put in a surprise optional dungeon like the colour dungeon in Links Awakening DX.

I was pleasantly surprised that one of the changes is that it seems there is more verticallity in the terrain. It ebbs and flows more. Overall very charming, combat looks quicker and smoother. Castle town looks great and there was a hint there is more to find in the back alleys (new mini games/quests?) in the talk over.

Am definitely going to pick this one up and drench myself in nostalgia while playing it.

I am see mixed thoughts on the visuals on the game. What do you all think?

I really like how it looks.

I like the stylized elements - but, as my younger son said, at moments it looks like if there was two main artist who were doing their own thing, one pushing for stylized and one for more realistic approach (and they didn't talked much to each other), so when it's all combined, it looks a bit off - and that design they've chosen for Link is not helping at all.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity - Definitive Edition will land on Switch 2 on February 25, 2027.

Honestly OoT Remake if it has AA. It would look at home on more powerful consoles series X and PS5. I always felt Monolith is the best at getting the most out of a system for a first party owned studio of any of the three platforms. If they are indeed the devs of OoTR, seals it for me.
