I honestly like the DualShock as it is and as it's always been. I never got used to the XBox controller as being more comfortable, as some people suggested, though the ease with which I switch from one to another leads me to believe that people just like to complain.
Only thing I would actually change are, indeed, the triggers. As they are right not, it's easy for your fingers to slip off them at the worst moments.
If the change the D-Pad I would actually be really upset of that. If it's one thing that I've always loved about the PlayStation controllers it's the D-Pad. Proper button separation is so much more comfortable than what the XBox has going for it.
Funny thing though...I've just stacked the 360 controller with the PS3...I don't see why people keep complaining about the PS3 being too small when the 360 has extra just a bit of useless plastic. Otherwise, the main dimensions of the controllers are pretty close. Or at least that's how they seem to me.
Been playing these consoles for...15 years I think, maybe more. Played the original XBox, the 360, the Wii, all the PS consoles to date...and I can't say I've ever had a more comfortable experience than the DualShock has offered. It may be that I'm just completely adapted to it...or that it's a design that's pretty much nailed most of what it needs to be.

thank you! I hate the placement of the 360 analogs. Hands are symmetrical so the analog sticks should be

Will it be ok with you if Sony makes a game-pad like the Wii U ?
The Vita's d-pad and concave sticks. Otherwise, it's fine.

no because then they'll have to put a bunch of money into the controller instead of making a 1080p 60fps 4gb ram beast. They'll have to spend over $150 on controllers so they would either have to make another $600 console or wimp out on internal specs like WiiU.

I don't remember any PlayStation analog sticks being concave. |
Maybe you weren't born back then or its too long ago to remember, but these information are on the web for you to see and you should've researched a bit before asking me what concave means.

Before you ask me funny questions, its called the dual analog controller, model SCPH-1150 in Japan, SCPH-1180 in the United States and SCPH-1180e in Europe.

I forgot about the "analog" button (ps2 seems so long ago now). I honestly didn't remember PSone having those sticks. I guess I was pretty young though still looks good and doesn't add any cost I say go for it Sony!
That's what i thought.
Plus i really don't need a screen on my controller it's just confusing. Like when i'm playing Batman Ac on the Wii U i have to look at the screen and move my arms all the time. it's just tiring.
But hey, that's just my opinion maybe some people like it.
-Make it bigger and more ergonomic. The current design is just too tiny for adult-sized hands.
-Make the triggers and analogue sticks concave so your fingers don't slip off.
