Also, GAME has for several games delayed their release date on Steam in the UK. Seems they threatens publishers to not display their title if they release on Steam the same day.
That's such a bs when you see the amount of space dedicated to boxed PC games.
I remember Darksiders I PC version and WH40K : Space Marine being affected, although I preordered them through Steam.
So yes, another useless intermediate I'll see gladly dying.
Isn't it like against the law or anything? I mean new would imply that the game is still in packaging selling it AS new rather than new is a bit different :

Sorry, but that's just BS right there. Amazon also has to pay its workers etc. (who do you think pays for your free shipment?), so GAME should be able to sell the games at these prices too. Besides, MediaMarkt and Saturn for example have most games as cheap as Amazon, so why not GAME?
I used to shop at Game station then that business happened a few months ago and Game station suddenly changed to Game and new game prices shot up £10-15 needless to say I don't shop there anymore.

Gamestation was bought by GAME in 2007. Their prices shouldn't have been any different. We had both a GAME & Gamestation in my hometown until about 3 months ago, and their prices were exactly the same. Just sometimes one had stock which the other one didn't.
Another example of them wasting money, really. There's only about 100,000 people who live in my hometown, so they really didn't need two stores.

Game station where I live new games where usually £32-35 now they're £42-45, used to be 3 Games and a Game station still 2 games even now. Iam lucky though there's a Grainger games as well which are usually cheaper but do most games shopping online now.
It's just a stupid business that'll shut down in the next few years.
