DmC imo is one of the best games ever made (collaborated) and published by Capcom.

In my view its in league with Resident Evil 4, Okami and the original Devil May Cry for a game that Capcom has published. I would say alongside Monster Hunter 3 (which I didn't play), Street Fighter 4 and Okami HD, its on par with those games in terms of what Capcom has published this generation.

Just read some of the back posts. The game will run at up to 200 frames per second on PC, if you PC can handle it.

I've been into this series since it first came out on the PS2. Honestly DmC is not perfect, but I consider the combat an improvement over the previous games; unfortunately Bayonetta is a better action game. But DmC does a lot of things better than Bayonetta, but the combat in Bayonetta is unmatched in any action game I've ever played.

No. Street Fighter 4 brought a resurgence of the fighting genre, that is no doubt their biggest achievement of the latest years.
Marvel vs Capcom 3, despite all the buzz with ultimate and on disc DLC and all that, aswell as questionable cast, was still a very good game.
Dragons dogma i havent played but is apparantly quite good aswell.

So, no, nowhere near. DmC is beeing blown out of porportion because of people wanting to backlash on the annoyed fans, but in fact its a good game, but not a great game. Doesnt top Bayonetta and with Metal gear revengence and Bayonetta 2 coming out soon, aswell as devil's thrid eventually. Its a mid of the good table game. Just like enslaved was before it.

Its just another in the long line of terrible capcom sequels. It completely shits all over the devil may cry franchise too.

That's just crazy talk.

I rarely stand games that are poorly made. For example MGR demo is poor...I won't be going anywhere near it.

But DmC really isn't terrible in any way. Level design is stellar, character design and story is interesting and gameplay is what it is... May not satisy the DMC purists but its very good at its own merit.

I said "since SF4 " in my first post. I recognize the awesomeness of that game.

As far as rest of your post...I agree it doesn't top Bayonetta but what does? This shits all over the MGR demo I played which isn't even close in quality. It also rapes Dantes Inferno as Lords of Shadow in terms of gameplay mechanics and level design and DMC4 in pretty much averything from presentation to gameplay. I even like it better than Ninja Gaiden 2 due to combat/platforming variety.

Only thing this gen that was a better hack and slash is Bayonetta, God of War 3.

Agree with your post... Only thing I wanted to point out is that even if your PC runs the game at 200 fps, your monitor most likely only runs at 60 hz meaning it refreshes 60 times per second. So having 200 fps actually hurts your visuals cause it causes tearing.

Unless you have a true 120 hz monitor, VSYNC and 60 fps is the way to go.

Street Fighter is and always will be Capcoms bread and butter. DMC looks like its on its way to being up the in the ranks though.

I will openly admit that Street Fighter 4 is brilliant, especially considering the series root and current trends of casual gaming meets hardcore titles meetscinematic presentation.

However one thing that I really hate about it is the animations for the super moves. It totally kills the flow to a fight which can be super intense...however here comes a 30 second cinematic of facial closeups and colorful effects, for the sake of...I don't know what. I can go get a soda during this time...

Also it feels like a downgrade in terms of gameplay from Street Fighter 3 Third Strike, but thats my problem for being awesome. :)

No Monster Hunter Tri is and then Street Fighter IV after that.

LOL Street Fighter 4 was sick, but it will Third Strike scared off the noobs. I am sorry, that game was just too hardcore, like KOF hard.
