Masters? you should be able to fnd me a dozen or more in no time.

I think you need to look elsewhere for that.  Just dig out some of the competitions NPD reports for uber spin.


I find his comment funny given the way Sony has spun their shippment numbers......when we actually get them.

I think it is just PR spin, so I would say it is fastest selling of any Halo game or 343 game. Or best selling from 343. Also did they say 40 million plus last year as well?

yeah like i said, we undertracked it here in january 2008 by 1m, it makes absolutely no sense that we have it at 11.7m if it would be below 10m in reality.

€dit: oh yeah like ethomaz said...but still, 8.1m in january 2008 (or end of 2007) so they easily reached 10m after a while.

best selling 343game?  i thought this is their 1st game.even 1 sold copie would be best selling than.

Could be bestselling of all halos because of the biggest install base,but I can't remember that Halo3 needed such a fast and remarkeble price cut just a few weeks after release to keep the sales high.

BTW I don't know the numbers of previous Halo's as far as quarterly sales go, but since this is was part of a earnings report from a certain quarter could this mean that it was the best selling in the quarter it was released/time frame.

I have certain Halo 3 sold more than 10 million... even more than 11 million but this bolded is talking about the Halo franchise at the release of Halo 3 (http://www.rheena.com/showthread.php/36197-Halo-Movie-Director-Named-amp-Halo-Halo-2-Sold-14-5-Million-Worldwide!).
