Halo 3 is the concluding chapter in the Halo trilogy—an international award-winning action series that grew into a global entertainment phenomenon, selling more than 14.5 million games worldwide, logging more than 650 million hours of multiplayer action on Xbox LIVE.

14.5 million is for the franchise when the Halo 3 was launched... Halo + Halo 2 especificaly.

The latest oficial numbers for Halo 3 was 8.1 million in early 2008... I have certain the game sold more than 3 million after that.

It amazes me that people try and downplay halo sales success. It's pretty sad really. It's a monster. Accept it.

It is pretty hideous.

Halo 3, Halo: Reach sold over 10 million already and Halo 4 is selling better / faster than those games, so it will sell more than 10 million as well.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...
