First one I ever bought was Halo 2 Collector's Edition and my favorite currently is Persona 4 Golden Solid Gold Premium Edition.

still never bought one. I was very tempted with mass effect 3 but just couldn't bring myself to do it. simply not worth all the extra money.

I have the following in Special/Collector/Limited Editions

Forza Motorsport 2-4
Gears of War 2
Halo 3
Mass Effect 3
The Last Story (Special Pre-order Edition, which is pretty common)

I regret the Halo3 limited edition because the case is low quality and has given my disk some scratched. Gears of War 2 SE looks out of place since 1 & 3 are regular. I half regret wasting my $$$ on that. As for Forza's I'm meh. It's expensive and I like the extra stuff it comes with, but now that I've seen MS pick great cars for DLC, and just include them in future iterations of the game, I don't care for it.

The Last Story I love in Special Edition, and Mass Effect 3 in SE was nice because the first DLC cost $10 anyway, why not get a free steel case with the game?

Overall though, I don't care for Special Editions that much now, I kinda see it as a marketing ploy to get more of your $$$. The extra content is rarely worth the extra $$$

You bet ill be getting last of us survival edition.  It has some great stuff for just $20 more like god of war.  I won't pay over $100 for a game so I like these prices for special editions.

The 170 page artbook and comic book is what made me decide to buy it.  I kinda wish they would have put a pass for future DLC like GOW:A because if it has multiplayer it will more than likely get DLC.

yeah I never play online so that doesn't matter to me.  I do find it strange they cut out the artbook from the $160 edition.  I'm going to sell my Vita download code  I get from Sly and GoW's season pass for a little profit.  The statue I'm keeping just like the Alduin one I bought (sweet statue)
