I love all the people pretending they're not impressed. If you're into JRPGs, it won't get any better than this... Xenoblade is proof enough.

A lot of people are not impressed by tech. Because, there are already games out that look better than it, including games with scale.

The main things that matter in JRPG to me anyways, that matter battle, story, characters, music, artyle. My favorite JRPG of the last 10 years was P3: FES, and that game severly lacked graphics, and scale.

What's shown is extremely small snippets of gameplay and great tech. I'm anticipating it, but not shitting my pants over something I've seen 1 minute of. I've never been gaga over unreleased games though.

Even in the extreme bad quality the first image is, please tell me ,which one have more detail?

sure the mountian looks more detailed but that the only thing going on, in that pics compare it to my RDR you cant deney which looks better.

Will likely buy a Wii U.

Why not? I own a 360 and PS3. Everything in this trailer would be considered impressive for those consoles. I find it funny that a lot of people think the Wii U is less powerful than the 360/PS3, and then are unimpressed when a game is shown that outdoes any JRPG I can think of. JRPGs typically are far from state of the art when it comes to tech.

That was actually pretty underwhelming it looks extremely generic and cookie cutter , no wonder JRPGs are in trouble when they all look the same. As far as draw distances go it fails because it has no architecture on the ground to render so it's literally one big blank sand box but people are gushing over it. I agree with ninja RDR looks far superior in terms of technical execution with various objects, trees, weather, buildings and more all while having great draw distances and scenery (now I want to play RDR). I would also add I think The Witcher 2 destroys this game in terms of graphics also to be honest.

Uhh...what JRPG does this look like? Xenoblade? lol.

Soriku its a waste even feeding them trust me.

Best just let them try downplay how good this game looks and when they see no one commenting maybe they will go away and leave us alone to enjoy talking about this great game. (look how ninja blade keeps post RDR pics for instance even after i said we will talk once the game is released, your just wasting your posting power on them)

well this was for another poster, i'm done with this thread, i just really bothers me when some fans, say this is way above the othere systems with out no proof.

I played and finished RDR on the 360 and this looks better. It is absolutely not my type of game and I think it looks boring as hell, but it does look technically better than any open world game I could think of.

With all these new rumors of the Xbox 3 and PS4 popping up left and right you totally forget that PS3 and 360 games are still good looking titles. People discuss whether the Xbox 3 / Ps4 will be 4 - 6 times more powerful than the Wii U and everybody is arguing about minor differences. So this video was just perfectly timed. It reminds you that the Wii U alone is easily capable of games like God of War, Halo 4, Uncharted 3, Gears of War 3, Killzone 3 or Forza Motorsports 4 and that these games look just fine and created some very good gaming experiences.

Damn, I started my gaming-life with games like these:

And these games were fun. Now we are disussing differences 99.8% of the consumers won't even notice anyway. I said it about a dozen times already, but art-style is more important than graphics anyway.

Aynway, have fun with this game guys. It is not for me, but go ahead and enjoy it.

Imagine not having GamePass on your console...

I don't see why people are even trying with this. It's quite clear that it's early in the dev cycle, and as such will not look completely polished. However, it looks damn good (certainly the best on the Wii U and amongst the best out there anywhere ATM), and it's an RPG, which aren't known for being graphical powerhouses (well, outside of Final Fantasy).

We've seen 1 trailer for 1 minute, are you guys really trying your upmost to doom everything?

Here lies the dearly departed Nintendomination Thread.

Is NinjaBlade still trying to make us believe in his dream world oh dear, here is the 360 version of RDR in 720p and here is the trailer of X. The first 15 seconds of X's trailer shows how much more detailed X is, it's not even a contest look at the character models, plant life and animations and this is not even a direct trailer of the game. When we get a direct trailer it'll look even better but look at the following screen, even in the poor quality you can see the detail.

If you all are talking about draw distance, wouldn't a more recent game like Assassin's Creed 3 or heck Skyrim be a better indicator then Red Dead Redemption which is several years old or are we just comparing the two because most of this games locals shown have been sparse sandy areas? I could just as easily throw out Lost Planet or EX Troopers due to the use of mecha.

But really knocking the graphics when the game is still probably barely half way through development is absurd, does anyone remember what the initial Xenoblade trailer looked like when it was called Monado? Worry not about the graphics at this point and look forward to what is hopefully a worthy follow up to one of the best RPGs of the last generation.

I guess I don't fit in that category. I think the Wii-U is more powerful. However, with ports it's going to struggle behind. it's CPU is weaker, but GPU is much much stronger than x360. However cheap ports aren't going to take advantage of this because they have to reoptimize things and that costs money.

for a JRPG it's technically impressive. But for me that in itself, does not make me overly excited, since there are some things that aren't clear. For instance if they make it too much like monster hunter/skyrim, I won't be interested at all. That can be cleared up in subsequent trailers.

I wasn't impressed or hyped with snippets we've seen of versus XIII, Last Guardian either so I'm not being selective here. I'm definetely excited for it because xenoblade was great. However, getting super hyped and praising something without skepticism based on a 1 minute clip is not me.
