Forums - Gaming - Surface VS Nexus 10 web browsing experience comparison video - with a clear winner

Here is a neat video comparison between these 2 tablets showcasing web browsing experience. I don't think there is a shadow of a doubt which is better for tablet web browsing...

Stuff like this often goes unnoticed when people do spec comparisons between tablets, and its a damn shame. I know that screen PPI and number of apps are usually the main bragging points for tablets these days... but as someone that spends more than 50% of my time on the web with my tablet, there is no way I'd buy the lesser of these 2 tablets if most reviews did comparison videos like this side by side like this.

Someone please embed this video...Youtube or vgchartz doesn't appear to allow me to do it.

I only watched a bit of the video, but based on all the angry comments posted...

Surface is the clear winner.

Well, as of right now, the app store for Windows is abysmal, so it doesn't even come close to any android tablet.

I had my first play with a surface RT the other day. Don't know what all the complaining is about. Far batter than my ipad tbh.

Where? Do Currys have them now?!

Abysmal is a very strong word because in less than 3 months they managed to add 40,000 tablet designed and optimized apps. The cracks are slowly being filled out and in a few months it will be on par.

Besides Android doesn't even have 40K tablet designed apps (not even close) but it has shitload of phone apps running on 10 inch tablets...

Again, numbers being thrown around VS actual user experience and quality.

no, can only get them from MS.  An IT consultant I use had one.  That keyboard is amazing.  The screen is lovely and it has some really nice touches.

John Lewis started selling them at the end of December, and MS said that they'll be available in more retailers soon, so I thought they might've started selling them in Currys as I haven't been in a few weeks.  I'll check one out when Currys get them

The video above is a performance comparison, not interesting as the one in the OP.

lol, well this is interesting too... I mean it shows that while iPad can dominate in JS benchamrks and fishbowl HTML5 tests, user experience still better on the Surface.

Do you mind posting my video too? For some reson I can't post an embed iframe on Vgchartz today...
