Terrible for the Wii U, not even NSMBU in the top 40 UK Chart.

Bets with Conegamer:

Pandora's Tower will have an opening week of less than 37k in Japan. (Won!)
Pandora's Tower will sell less than 100k lifetime in Japan.

Not very surprising.  It was only in the charts for 2 weeks and has been absent for 6 weeks now.

Fifa Wii is less than 935 units, and didn't make the top 40.  Skylanders was two spots higher on the Wii chart and made it in at number 40.  So we can assume the bottom of the top 40 is ~1k units.  Wii U hardware likely isn't higher than 1500.

Wow that's even worse, not even during the Holidays?? I haven't been following the PAL charts for a long time. Wii U is absolutely dead in Europe, how's the release schedule looking like for the region? I assume, as per the American schedule, that it will be dead empty and that the few games it might get won't chart at all, or will do so for a week and closer to the bottom of the list.

Nintendo Land managed to stay in for two more weeks at #35 then #40.  The last time any Wii U software appeared in the top 40 was the week ending December 22nd.  Ninja Gaiden 3 released last week and debuted at number 5 on the Wii U charts (probably 800 units or less over two weeks).  Sing Party released this week and failed to crack the top 10 Wii U charts.  The next game with a chance to chart is probably Scribblenauts on Feb. 8th, but it is unlikely to sell very much.  After that is probably Rayman Legends on Feb 28th.

It's pretty bleak for at least a couple months.

Fun fact:

Rayman was the best selling PS1 game in the UK.

So Sing Party is a bomb as well... Ninja Gaiden I can comprehend it, but this one?

Has Nintendo really planned their offerings for Wii U properly or have they just sent everything to die without any thought behind it?? How is the marketing campaign at the moment in the UK or Europe?? They can't be doing this bad, something is terribly wrong.

It's either the Wii brand is completely irrelevant and has a negative image or the marketing campaign is terrible.
There's no way the console is doing THIS bad unless there's something absolutely wrong.I would rather go for the second option, but I wouldn't discard the Wii brand being worn off and actually having a negative image among buyers.

So far it's no different than Wii's last years, in fact it's getting worse already. Nintendo needs to release multiple titles as soon as possible, and all of them of big caliber. Something exclusive, something that will draw attention to their machine.
