MNR was the first game I got for my Vita, returned it a week later. Awful framerate, annoying controls, boring campaign, and worst of all: on online multiplayer! I wouldn't even call this review biased, MNR Roadtrip was a terrible game obviously rushed to coincide with the launch of the Vita.

Well I find this ridiculous from the mods.  MBP should never have been banned or have his thread locked if this is allowed up.  They were both trolling.  Sure they are both obviously joking but if you're going to lock one then the other can't stay up.  To that I say the mods made a poor desicion whether it was for banning MBP or keeping Rol's up.  Double standards shouldn't be allowed.

Usually your threads are funny but I'm not seeing the punchline or wit in this one.

Just earlier, you mentioned that you made a similar thread which was locked, implying that this thread should be locked too. And considering you're a massive PABR/Sony fan (looking at your sig), I could say the same about you.

But please explain this joke to me. All I see is praising one game while insulting another using hyperbole. Where is the punchline?

Both threads were clearly joking and both should either be kept or be locked, but with that said it is clearly a joke and nothing more.  A lot of people do find it funny because it is hard to argue that MK7 is not good and that MNR Road Trip is not bad. Nobody cares about the scores as it is a joke, sense of humor buddy.  Just because you like sony doesnt mean you cant take a joke. 

I acknowledge that it's a joke. I'm just looking for an explanation on what makes this funny. 

If MK7 is a good game, then what's funny about saying "MK7 is very good"? 

And if MNR is a bad game, then what's funny about saying "MNR is very bad"? 

If what you say is true, then Rol is just speaking the truth. So where is the joke?

Exaggerating things makes it funny?

Okay, just think about a game you consider good. Now imagine a thread made that exaggerates the game quality with phrases like "it's the best game in the world!", "It's the second coming of Jesus!", etc. This would obviously be an exaggeration, but would it be funny?

No imagine a game you consider bad. Let's say someone made a thread that exaggerates the game's lack of quality with phrases like "It's the worst game ever made!", "This game is shit and gives you cancer!", etc. This would obviously be an exaggeration, but would it be funny?

Would those threads be funny to you, just because they're exaggerations? I don't think so. To me, these would be cheap threads that anyone could think up in a few seconds.

Exaggerations can be made funny, Jay. I'm sure you've used them before.
