I just want to know it already but it is pretty annoying when so many rumours say something totally different....

At this point, it's just a matter of a bunch of journalists, online fake journalists, fanboys and hoaxers throwing out as much speculation as possible to generate as many hits or create as much controversy as possible as the official word is due to be released in the upcoming weeks.

Can't really speculate, opine on what one believes in regards to competing hardware or spread false information after that.

From there, it's all going to be about why X hardware is superior to Y hardware followed by the inevitable doctored screen shot comparisons and finally confirmed video of retail release games with detailed analysis comparing the results on respective hardware.

So yeah; at this point, it's really just best to ignore all of the 11th hour speculation if one is capable of that.

I try to avoid rumors like these because they usually lead to high expectations, which are usually not met, resulting in dissatisfaction.

Rumors are fine. What I find annoying and amusing by turns are people taking rumours and turning them into fact to claim that their machine will be the uber powerful bestest machine of the next gen, AND it will be launched for $299.

it appears many VG Chartz users enjoy crapping on about specs and brand loyalty

I don't mind the rumors, but hate fanboys that swarm to it like flies. Which in itself is not bad until truly like flies they start spewing their secretions all over the place and making healthy gamers, like yourself I suspect, sick of all the rumors and the BS.

I'm tired of people complaining about people speculating on rumours, if you don't want to see it just don't look at them FFS. Plus the hipocracy of creating a thread about speculating on RAM rumours hours after making this thread is mind blowing.
