I've been keeping with the same source (S|A) for two years of next-gen rumours and he has yet to be contradicted. His prediction of AMD graphics for both is correct, the rest of his are both AMD CPUs, 720>PS4 in power and released first, 720 has eDRAM.
There is always some admixture of truth to them though ;)

Funnily enough every time I read a rumour I still feel like I have no better sense of what the consoles are going to be like, especially in regards to graphics. All people do is bring up PC bench marks but we all know graphics on PC and on consoles are worlds apart in terms of how much horse power is needed to achieve certain level of visuals. I'm going to officially join you in ignoring any future articles, unless its an official statement from microsoft or Sony. Ultimately though, I just need E3 to get here, so I can see all the games!
Unfortunately, some gamers like to hear all the rumors and speculation. For me, I think it's stupid and I could not care less about any next gen rumor. Besides that, I'm very happy with my current gen consoles. Although I only have a Ps3 right now, the Xbox 360 and the Wii are great (even though Wii has slowed down due to WiiU) and I don't think next gen consoles should come out until holiday 2014.

Ah I see. I wouldn't either if it was a laptop. I don't see how people own a "gaming" laptop. I hate laptops and would never buy one. I stick to desktopss considering it is pretty damn easy upgrading memory or gpu on desktops.
Not trying to diss your style (to each their own) but I would need USB keyboard and mouse just to operate a laptop properly. I don't like my keys small nor do I like trackpad/balls or whatever.

I can understand people wanting to discuss them and the rumoured technology but when people start talking about not buying consoles based on the rumours it gets tiresome.
As long as they don't disprove my "Sony is doomed" theory, what's the harm?

digitail foundy is not saying rumors, DF is saying there pretty sure that these are the specs.
