Great thread!

But just to make sure; when the gap goes down, that's a good thing, right?

If you want WiiU to flop, yeah.

So it's not a good thing for most people...?

Could you please explain it more Pezus? I'm still not sure I get it.

Would it be impossible to get PS2 numbers now that vgchartz does not track anymore?

The numbers were destroyed when they stopped tracking the PS2, we can only guess how many units were sold now.

My guess is 500 million.

why are you posting pictures of my girl friends?

Didn't you hear? They cheated on you for me. I'm sorry they just couldn't resist.

I mean, one at a time girls.

ohh you dont know? they came back to me very unsatisfied in bed, they said they wanted a real lover

This thread is pure gold. Look at the gap graph drop on Wii U vs Wii!

That Wii/WiiU gap will look painful in 6 Months time.

i'm not sure why but if you dive into the database the oldest entry is nov 27th 2004 marking the launch of the DS.  ps2 is gone.  japan has some crasy stuff in there like the GB but no, i can't add the ps2 in there for you.    i would if i could though.

a negative gap means that next gen (wiiU, 3DS, vita) is doing worse then its predecessor (wii, DS, psp).
