I think multi plat games will perform differently in these two consoles with different set ups.
I mean on one hand, the Ps4 has less space but a faster RAM. But the 720 has more but a slower RAM.

Nah it really doesn't come down to that at all.
If this rumor is to be believed it comes down to the following:
PS4 GDDR5 - able to push larger amounts of data at once, but much slower cycle rate
360 DDR3 - able to push less data at once but do it more rapidly + having more memory to work with.
PS4 - .50 caliber machine gun firing 5 rounds per second
360 - .30 caliber machine gun firing 10 rounds per second and having more ammo to fire with.
I really don't know how else I can illustrate this to people...GDDR5 doesn't necessarily mean faster performance. Infact for non GPU tasks its much worse.
Does any know who lherre from NeoGaf works for? because he just posted this?
Why are people talking about a mobile gpu?
also
I mean, they only suggest a model to made their assumptions, but it's not a fact I think. I'm not sure if i'm explaining myself correctly. I'm not saying that it is incorrect at all but throw a model is a great assumtion when the gpu have custom parts inside it. I would have said the gpu family like other rumours (R10XX from AMD) instead a model.

I think you mean XBox 720? And I'm pretty sure GDDR5 is FASTER than DDR3. Am I wrong?
Funny that medias keep guessing wrong about 720's RAM type
I just read this
http://www.gamrreview.com/news/89682/rumour-sony-to-abandon-dualshock-design-for-ps4/
are they going for a "Wii U game pad" kind of controller?

Why?
Someone with a good track record {according to some NeoGaf folk} named Karek reckons the Durango wont need that much ram for the OS.

I think you need a little more about the GDDR5 tech... it is not like GDDR4 or GDDR3... more for graphcis... GDDR5 was created for both worlds and more... graphcis and computer.
