Sounds cool. How would that effect battery life or gameplay?

I guess it depends on if it's an always on type of functionality. I sure hope the controller has a battery life at least compared to the ps3 dualshock. I do think the colors could make the controller look very very nice though :D at least that's the way I feel when I try to picture it..could be a whole different story in reality

Who thinks that rumor is bullshit knows nothing about nothing.

VG247 [and the writer Patrick Garratt] always had solid and reliable leaks like the latest: Xperia Play, PS Vita and Gaikai.

That's the best rumor we have for now.

I believe in this guy until that was proved wrong.

No it's not bullshit because it is VG247... show me a false rumor posted by trem... they were right about Xperia Play, PS Vita and Gaikai... all first leaked by VG247.

And I think you need to learn to read because th article didn't say the Nextbox is weaker than PS4.

From Neogaf:

Previous VG247 Rumors:

Xbox 720 has 2 GPUs, 4-6 core CPU, requires internet connection to play games

PS4 uses A10 APU, dev kits have 8-16 GB of RAM

PlayStation Vita uses a four core Cell CPU

Note:

Multiple of GAF's favored sources have implied both rumors are wrong.

In other words this article is bullshit.

If the PS4 has 50% more power than the 720 (as you say), then it'll also be way more expensive...which means the 720 will annihilate it in terms of sales. This isn't good news for Sony if it's true!

But keep in mind that neither Sony nor MS have shown anything final yet. All these rumours are just that, frustrated "analysts" who are ordered to write an article about nothing they were shown. That is why you get the "720 is umpteen times more powerful than PS4" and "PS4 is blatimes more powerful than 720" - gotta fill those pages and if Pachter can do it, they can do it too.

What we know from the MS leaked goal sheets is the simple fact thatthe  X720 will have MORE raw cpu power than the PS4. This is no surprise since the 720 has to run the Kinect2 in software which requires a lot (and I mean a lot assuming high resolution) more processing power than current Kinect. The end result will be: 720 games that run Kinect will probably not quite reach PS4 game quality, while 720 games that do not use Kinect will probably be considerybly "better" than PS4 counterparts (whatever the end meaning of "better" will be).

Everybody, keep in mind that both consoles are supposed to arrive this fall/winter. Manufacturing rules tell us that ALL component contracts were sealed by mid-2012 at the latest, this is how the industry works. At that time, AMD had NOTHING to show to MS/Sony what has been rumoured in the past months ("New Jaguar cores...... ATI GCN2 gpus" - all hogwash, I very seriously doubt that either company (or any existing company) signed $billion contracts based on paper hardware).

I'm sure Sony and MS showed Durango and Orbis at closed doors in CES... all the rumors come from that... there is even documents about Durango in CES not leaked yet.
